“The Scream – Cork Edition” is a contemporary tribute to Edvard Munch’s masterpiece — entirely reinterpreted millimetre by millimetre on natural cork, without brushes, without prints, without mechanical reproduction. Only ultra-fine zinc-free dyed cotton satin, hand-inlaid using a manual tracing system developed exclusively by CorkFashionArt. Not painted. Not printed. Shaped, stitched and punctuated into sustainable matter. On the top cap, the Norwegian flag — birthplace of Edvard Munch — divides the surface into four quadrants: two white, two red, separated by a blue cross. A silent homage to the artist’s origins, before the work itself begins to speak. On the circumference, the bordeaux face of The Scream faithfully reproduces the iconic expression: hands raised to the face, mouth open, a gaze that finds no peace. Rotating 180°, the same face returns — this time in enigmatic blue, mysterious, almost otherworldly. And in the background, a golden reflection of the same face: not an error, not a decorative variation — but a conceptual declaration. The golden reflection is the dissolution of fear. What frightens us, seen through time and distance, becomes light. At the base, white and red fabric — the Norwegian national colours — enfolds the NFC chip with the discretion of one who knows that the most important details are not shown, but discovered.

“L’Urlo — Cork Edition” è un tributo contemporaneo al capolavoro di Edvard Munch — interamente reinterpretato millimetro per millimetro su sughero naturale, senza pennelli, senza stampe, senza riproduzioni meccaniche. Solo cotone satin ultra-fine tinto senza zinco, intarsiato a mano con un sistema di tracciatura manuale sviluppato esclusivamente da CorkFashionArt. Non dipinto. Non stampato. Formato, cucito e punteggiato nella materia sostenibile. Sulla sommità, la bandiera norvegese — terra natale di Edvard Munch — divide la superficie in quattro quadranti: due bianchi, due rossi, separati da una croce blu. Un omaggio silenzioso alle origini dell’artista, prima ancora che l’opera stessa prenda parola. Sulla circonferenza, il viso bordeaux dell’Urlo riproduce con fedeltà assoluta l’espressione iconica: le mani che si portano al volto, la bocca aperta, lo sguardo che non trova pace. Ruotando di 180°, lo stesso viso ritorna — questa volta in blu enigmatico, misterioso, quasi ultraterreno. E sullo sfondo, un riflesso dorato della stessa faccia: non un errore, non una variazione decorativa — ma una dichiarazione concettuale. Il riflesso d’oro è la dissoluzione della paura. Ciò che spaventa, visto attraverso il tempo e la distanza, diventa luce. Alla base, tessuto bianco e rosso — i colori nazionali norvegesi — avvolge il chip NFC con la discrezione di chi sa che i dettagli più importanti non si mostrano, si scoprono.
