Eight corks. One word. The most celebrated wine of the Veneto, written in overflowing gold.

“Prosecco (Bibendi)” is rooted in the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene — a UNESCO World Heritage landscape since 2019, where centuries of morning mist and afternoon sun transform the Glera grape into one of the world’s most beloved sparkling wines. It is in these lands that cork finds the deepest meaning of its purpose: to preserve what is precious, to contain what yearns to overflow. Horace, in his Odes, wrote “Nunc est bibendum” — now is the time to drink. From that immortal phrase comes “bibendi”: the Latin gerund of necessity, permission, celebration. Seven letters running silently across the top caps of the corks, invisible companions to PROSECCO, as if whispering the reason for which this work exists. Across the circumference of each cork, the eight letters of PROSECCO are crafted in gold lycra — but not with the coldness of typographic perfection. Every letter overflows: fabric drops descend from counters, pool at bases, drown in terminals. As if the letters themselves had been written with the very wine they describe — incapable of containing their own abundance. On the reverse, rotating 180°, the same letters appear in lilac: perfect, rigorous, typographically impeccable. Two natures of the same word — the exuberance of gold and the composure of lilac. On the eighth cork, the top cap bears the Cantina San Vettor logo in bordeaux lycra — a silent and authoritative presence that seals the work with the mark of those who produce that Prosecco with the same care that created this tribute.

Otto tappi. Una sola parola. Il vino più celebrato del Veneto, scritto in oro che trabocca.
“Prosecco (Bibendi)” nasce nelle colline di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene — territorio Patrimonio UNESCO dal 2019, dove da secoli la nebbia mattutina e il sole del pomeriggio trasformano il Glera in uno dei vini spumanti più amati al mondo. È in queste terre che il sughero affonda le radici del proprio senso: custodire ciò che è prezioso, trattenere ciò che vuole esplodere.
Orazio, nelle sue Odi, scrisse “Nunc est bibendum” — ora è il tempo di bere. Da quella frase immortale nasce “bibendi”: il gerundio latino della necessità, del permesso, della celebrazione. Sette lettere che corrono silenziose sulle sommità dei tappi, compagne invisibili di PROSECCO, quasi a sussurrare il motivo per cui l’opera esiste.
Sulla circonferenza di ogni tappo, le otto lettere di PROSECCO sono scritte in lycra oro — ma non con la freddezza della perfezione tipografica. Ogni lettera trabocca: gocce di tessuto scendono dagli occhielli, si posano sulle basi, affogano nei terminali. Come se le lettere stesse fossero state scritte con il vino che descrivono — impossibilitate a contenere la propria abbondanza. Sul retro, ruotando di 180°, le stesse lettere appaiono in lilla: perfette, rigorose, tipograficamente impeccabili. Due nature della stessa parola — l’esuberanza dell’oro e la compostezza del lilla. Sull’ottavo tappo, la sommità porta il logo della Cantina San Vettor in lycra bordeaux — presenza silenziosa e autorevole che sigilla l’opera con il marchio di chi quel Prosecco lo produce con la stessa cura con cui è stato creato questo tributo.
