“Numero — Tributo a Leonardo Fibonacci” is the most mathematically ambitious work ever conceived in the global phygital collectible market. Each piece is a number. Each series is a dimension of the spiral. The three series together — Length, Width, Depth — generate a three-dimensional numerical spiral honouring the genius of Leonardo Fibonacci: the man who brought the Indo-Arabic numeral system to the Western world, forever transforming the way humanity calculates, trades and thinks. The numbers 1 through 9 — those that Fibonacci bequeathed to us — are distributed in millimetric inlay on Lycra in exclusive CorkFashionArt colours, rotating around each cork like a sequence that never stops. Like the spiral of a shell growing without breaking, each work is larger than the one before. Like the Fibonacci sequence, each element carries within it the memory of what precedes it and the anticipation of what is to come. At the base of each piece, concealed beneath real Italian silk with a floral motif — a bond with the nature from which cork originates — a secret Fibonacci sequence awaits those who know to seek it.

Le tre serie insieme — Lunghezza, Larghezza, Profondità — generano una spirale tridimensionale numerica che omaggia il genio di Leonardo Fibonacci: l’uomo che portò in Occidente il sistema numerico indo-arabico, trasformando per sempre il modo in cui l’umanità calcola, commercia e pensa. I numeri da 1 a 9 — quelli che Fibonacci ci consegnò — sono distribuiti in intarsio millimetrico su Lycra nei colori esclusivi CorkFashionArt, ruotando attorno a ogni tappo come una sequenza che non si ferma mai.
