“Cubismo — Appunti Visivi ” is a polyptych that does not illustrate Cubism — it inhabits it. Each element carries within it the fragmentation of reality that Picasso and Braque bequeathed to the world in 1907: decomposed faces, geometries in tension, simultaneous perspectives challenging each other on the cylindrical surface of a wine cork. The millimetric hand-crafting technique — unique in the world — becomes here both instrument and metaphor: just as Cubism shattered linear vision, each piece shatters the perception of what a cork can contain. A face that laughs and questions itself. The birth year of an entire movement, written in green and emerald silk with offset digits like a visual contagion. A water jug that bewilders a cross-eyed observer. Geometric forms that contract and expand. A musical note free of any stave. Drops held back by force beneath an iron cage. Seven variations on a single theme: the freedom to see the world in fragments. Not to impress — to disorient. And in disorientation, to reveal.

“Cubismo — Appunti Visivi ” è un polittico che non illustra il Cubismo — lo abita. Ogni elemento porta in sé la frammentazione del reale che Picasso e Braque consegnarono al mondo nel 1907: volti scomposti, geometrie in tensione, prospettive simultanee che si sfidano sulla superficie cilindrica di un tappo di sughero. La tecnica millimetrica di realizzo — unica al mondo — diventa qui strumento e metafora al tempo stesso: come il Cubismo ruppe la visione lineare, ogni pezzo rompe la percezione di ciò che un tappo può contenere. Un viso che ride e si interroga. L’anno di nascita di un’intera corrente, scritto in seta verde e smeraldo con le cifre sfasate come un contagio visivo. Una brocca che sconcerta un occhio strabico. Forme geometriche che si contraggono e si espandono. Una nota musicale libera da ogni spartito. Gocce trattenute a forza da una gabbietta di ferro. Sette variazioni su un tema solo: la libertà di vedere il mondo in frammenti. Non per impressionare — per disorientare. E nel disorientamento, rivelare.
